So, how was Psy City started?

Well, a couple of years ago while trolling on the VGDC forums I found a site called Dungeon Studios (now dead), I became a part of that and made my sub-par animations there. After about a year I decided it was time for me to make my own site, Psy City was the result of how corny I can get the name to reference 'Psycosis' (seriously, the name Psy City started as a joke, then it just sunk in). So I opened Psy City December 15th 2005, and the peasants rejoice.

How long have you been working on flash movies?

I have been working of flash for a little over 3 years now. My first movies sucked so they aren't on this site! The first movie on here, 'Mario Bros. Revamped' is a remake of my very first flash made a year prior to that one. There are also other flash movies not on here, namely my DSTV series, a series of music videos. I don't host these movies on my website but you can still find them all on Newgrounds.

Who introduced you to flash?

Well it started when I was I think 11 or 12, my friend Gary showed me Xiao Xiao from Newgrounds.com which I thought was awesome. So I checked out the entire site and stumbled on a series called Mario Babies, it was my favourite series at the time. And I did the normal 'hey I could do that too!' and got flash. The funny thing is the creator of Mario Babies goes to my school, but I didn't even know that until a couple of years later.
I repaid the friend who introduced me to flash, as he voice acts one of the Thwomps (the not-Daniel Sun Thwomp).

Who is behind Psy City?

This is a one-man website by me, Ian Kelly a.k.a psycosis91. I'm 16 years old and I'm from Scotland. The scripts, the flash, the images and everything else is made my me (mostly). This current layout has made by my good friend Beki Collins, who I believe has done an amazing job.

Is this site popular?

Ha, I wish! In fact I'm not sure the amount of hits I get a day. Can't be bothered checking. Considering some of my movies get popular on Newgrounds and Sheezyart I get more hits from there.

Since when have you made flash games?

Seriously it wasn't long ago. Prior to 'Bullet Bill' I hardly knew any action script. And I think it was only a week or two of scripting and it suddenly was a bigger hit than I could've ever hoped. Expect more games to come soon though. :D
Making flash games help as I want to be a programmer when I leave my school, then again C++ scares me.

Why do you use sprites?

It's the only thing I know how to use! I have no artistic ability (although I'm trying to improve) so I use videogame sprites. I did get a graphics tablet so I'm going to try and make some drawn movies.

Tell me about *insert flash movie here*!

Well, recently I've introduced 'Information Pages' for each of my movies, there will be some facts no-one cares about and comments on the Easter eggs, making of and little things I added into the movies. Obviously my most recent movies will have more things written about them, as I've forgotten most of the things in my old ones.
